1. What is the OLX BechDe Days Contest?
OLX BechDe Days is a promotional contest organized by OLX India where eligible users who create a listing during the contest period can participate and stand a chance to win exciting prizes.
2. When is the contest running?
The contest will run from 24 July 2026 (00:00 hrs) to 29 July 2026 (23:59 hrs).
3. Who can participate in the contest?
To participate, you must:
- Be a subscribed user of the OLX platform.
- Be a citizen of India.
- Not be a resident of Tamil Nadu.
- Not be an employee of OLX India.
4. How do I participate in the contest?
Simply post an ad on OLX during the contest period. Eligible users will receive a quiz/questionnaire via Push Notification or WhatsApp after the daily participation window closes.
5. Do I need to create a listing to participate?
Yes. Posting an ad on OLX during the contest period is mandatory to become eligible for the contest.
6. How will I receive the quiz?
Qualified users will receive the quiz through:
- Push Notifications, and/or
- WhatsApp messages on their registered mobile number.
7. How are winners selected?
All eligible entries are reviewed, and winners are selected randomly from eligible participants by OLX and its judging panel. The decision of OLX is final and binding.
8. What prizes can I win?
For each of the 5 contest days, 8 winners will be selected. Each winner will receive a Sony Headphone.
9. How many winners will be selected?
There will be 8 winners per day for 5 consecutive days, resulting in a total of 40 winners during the contest period.
10. When will winners be announced?
Winners will be announced and contacted within 48–72 hours after selection.
11. How will I know if I have won?
OLX may contact winners through:
- Phone call
- SMS on the registered mobile number.
12. What documents are required to claim the prize?
Winners may be required to submit valid government-issued identity proof for verification before the prize is dispatched, i.e., Aadhaar Card and PAN Card.
13. When will I receive my prize?
The prize will be dispatched within 30 days after successful verification and confirmation of the winner's details.
14. Is there any tax applicable on prizes?
For prizes valued above ₹10,000, a TDS of 31.2% will apply as per applicable law and must be paid by the winner before the prize is handed over.
15. Can my participation be disqualified?
Yes. Participants may be disqualified for:
- Providing incorrect information.
- Creating fake or duplicate profiles.
- Engaging in fraudulent activity.
- Violating the contest terms and conditions.
16. Can OLX modify or cancel the contest?
Yes. OLX reserves the right to extend, modify, suspend, or cancel the contest at its sole discretion without prior notice.
17. Is participation in the contest free?
Participation is voluntary. Eligible users simply need to post an Ad during the contest period and meet all contest requirements.
18. Can a resident of Tamil Nadu participate in the contest?
No. Residents of Tamil Nadu are not eligible to participate in this contest due to government policies
19. Does OLX use my contact details for contest communication?
Yes. By participating, you consent to being contacted by OLX through phone, SMS, WhatsApp, or email regarding contest-related communication and winner notifications.
20. What if I do not receive the quiz despite creating a listing?
Only qualified and eligible participants will receive the quiz notification. Receiving a quiz is subject to eligibility verification and successful delivery of push notifications/WhatsApp messages.

22. Can I transfer my prize to someone else?
The T&C do not provide for prize transferability. Prize issuance remains subject to winner verification and OLX's discretion.
23. What happens if I fail the verification process?
If a winner cannot provide the required information or documents, or fails verification, OLX may disqualify the participant and withdraw the prize.
