1. What is the Republic Day Contest?
The Republic Day Contest is a promotional contest organised by OLX India for eligible OLX users, where participants can win exciting prizes by listing items and participating in a quiz during the contest period.
2. When will the contest run?
The contest will run from 20th January 2026 (00:00 hrs) to 24th January 2026 (23:59 hrs).
3. Who is eligible to participate in the contest?
You are eligible if:
- You are a subscribed OLX user
- You are a citizen of India
- You are not a resident of Tamil Nadu
- You are not an employee of OLX India
- You create at least one listing on OLX during the contest period
4. How can I participate in the contest?
To participate:
- Ensure you meet the eligibility criteria
- Create a listing on OLX between 20 to 24 January 2026
- Eligible users will receive a quiz via push notification
- Submit your responses as instructed
5. Will everyone who lists an item receive a quiz?
Only qualified and eligible users will receive the quiz via push notification after the daily contest windows close.
6. How are winners selected?
Winners are selected randomly from eligible entries and reviewed by OLX India and its panel of judges. The decision of the Company will be final and binding.
7. When and how will winners be announced?
Winners will be announced within 48–72 hours after the contest ends and will be contacted via call, WhatsApp, or SMS at their registered contact number.
8. What prizes can I win?
The prizes include:
- JBL Flip Essential 2 speakers (daily winners)
- TVS Jupiter (Drum Model, 113 CC) for one fortunate winner
Prize distribution may vary as per the contest plan.
9. Are there any additional costs associated with the prizes?
Yes, for prizes valued above ₹10,000, a 31.2% TDS must be paid by the winner before prize handover
10. When will the prizes be delivered?
Prizes will be dispatched within 30 days after successful verification and submission of valid ID proof.
11. What documents are required to claim the prize?
Winners may be asked to provide:
- Valid government-issued ID proof
- PAN card (for TDS purposes, if applicable)
- Any additional documents required for verification
12. Can OLX disqualify a participant?
Yes. Participants may be disqualified for reasons including:
- Fake or duplicate profiles
- Providing false or misleading information
- Fraudulent or abusive behaviour
- Non-compliance with contest rules
13. Can the contest be cancelled or modified?
OLX India reserves the right to modify, suspend, extend, or cancel the contest at any time due to business, regulatory, or force majeure reasons.
