1. What is the duration of the "Christmas Contest"?
The contest starts at 00:00 hours on 17th December 2025 and ends at 23:59 hours on 21st December 2025.
2. How can I participate in the "Christmas Contest"?
To participate, you must:
Be a subscribed user of the OLX Platform.
Be a citizen of India (except residents of Tamil Nadu).
Make a listing on the OLX platform during the contest period (17th December 2025 to 21st December 2025).
Receive and complete the quiz sent via push notification or WhatsApp after the daily window closes.
3. Who is eligible to participate in the Contest?
Eligible participants must:
Be a subscribed user of OLX.
Be a citizen of India (not residing in Tamil Nadu).
Not an OLX India employee.
4. What is the quiz that participants must complete?
After making a listing on OLX, qualified users will receive a quiz via push notification or WhatsApp after each day's contest window closes. The quiz is designed to demonstrate the participant's skills.
5. How will winners be selected?
Winners will be randomly selected by the Company and its panel of judges from all eligible entries. The winners will be announced within 48-72 hours after the contest period ends.
6. What prizes can I win?
There are daily prizes for 8 consecutive days:
8 winners per day will receive a SONY EARBUDS.
1 winner per day will receive an IPHONE 17 (256 GB).
7. How are prizes delivered?
Prizes will be dispatched within 30 days after verifying the winning participant’s details and receipt of legal ID proof.
8. Is there a tax on the prize?
Yes, prizes exceeding Rs. 10,000 will be subject to a TDS of 31.2%. The winner must pay the TDS before receiving the prize. The corresponding credit for the TDS paid will be available in the winner's PAN account.
9. Can I participate if I’m not an Indian citizen?
No, only Indian citizens are eligible to participate.
10. What happens if I am selected as a winner?
Winners will be contacted via call, WhatsApp, or SMS for confirmation. If the winner fails to confirm, the prize may be withdrawn.
