OLX India Holi Contest – FAQ

1. What is the Holi BechDe Contest?

The Holi BechDe Contest is a limited-time contest organized by OLX India where eligible users can win exciting prizes by listing an item on OLX and participating in a quiz during the contest period.

2. When is the contest running?

The contest runs from 26th February 2026 (00:00 hours) to 2nd March 2026 (23:59 hours).

3. Who is eligible to participate?

To participate, you must:

• Be a subscribed user of OLX
• Be a citizen of India
• Not be a resident of Tamil Nadu
• Not be an employee of OLX India
• Create a listing on OLX during the contest period

4. How can I participate?

1. Create a listing on OLX between 26th February and 2nd March 2026.
2. Eligible users will receive a quiz via push notification or WhatsApp.
3. Complete the quiz to qualify for the lucky draw.

5. How are winners selected?

• Winners are selected randomly from eligible participants.
• All entries are reviewed by OLX and its appointed panel.
• The decision of OLX is final and binding.

6. What prizes can I win?

Daily Prizes (For 5 days)

• 8 lucky winners per day will win Sony Headphones.

Bumper Prize

• 1 luckiest winner will win a TVS Raider (Drum Model).

7. How and when will winners be informed?

• Winners will be announced within 48–72 hours.
• Winners will be contacted via call, WhatsApp, or SMS at their registered mobile number.

8. Is there any tax applicable to prizes?

Yes.

• Prizes valued above ₹10,000 are subject to 31.2% TDS, as per applicable law.
• The TDS amount must be paid by the winner before the prize is handed over.
• The TDS credit will reflect in the winner’s PAN account.

For the bumper prize (TVS Raider):

• The winner must pay the applicable TDS within the specified timeline.
• If TDS is not paid within 7 days of intimation, OLX reserves the right to cancel the selection and choose another winner.

9. How will I receive my prize?

• Physical prizes will be dispatched within 30 days after verification and confirmation of details.
• The bumper prize winner will be informed about the authorized dealer showroom for vehicle collection.
• The winner must complete documentation, registration, insurance, and statutory formalities.
• OLX will bear the vehicle cost (excluding TDS).

10. What documents are required to claim the prize?

• Valid government ID proof
• PAN card (mandatory for TDS compliance)
• Any additional documents required for verification

11. Can OLX disqualify participants?

Yes. OLX reserves the right to disqualify participants in cases of:

• Fake or duplicate profiles
• Fraudulent activity
• Submission of offensive, unlawful, or misleading content
• Failure to meet eligibility criteria

12. Can the contest be modified or cancelled?

Yes. OLX reserves the right to:

• Extend, modify, or cancel the contest
• Withdraw prizes
• Change terms and conditions

This may happen due to business, regulatory, or force majeure reasons.

13. How will my data be used?

By participating, you agree that:

• OLX may contact you via call, SMS, WhatsApp, or email regarding the contest.
• Your name and image may be used for promotional purposes (where permitted by law).
• Your information may be shared with authorized service providers for verification.

14. What happens if there is a dispute?

• The decision of OLX on all matters related to the contest is final.
• The contest is governed by the laws of India.
• Courts at Gurugram shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
